Continuing Religious Education

“But Jesus called for them and said,

‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them;

for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.

whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child,

Faith Formation is a lifelong journey.  After your child receives the sacrament of First Holy Communion, we strongly encourage you to sign them to our Continuing Religious Education Classes. These classes will continue the formation they received to prepare for their sacraments. They will be scripturally based, allowing students to be comfortable using the Bible, and continue building and strengthening their relationship with Christ. 

As with other programs, we ask for parents' support with prayers and participation. Our mission is to help you as parents/guardians nurture and foster growth in the Catholic faith of your children.

We offer Religious Education for children in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. We offer a traditional weekly program, family faith formation, and classes for students with special needs. 

Religious Education classes are offered on Sundays 9:15am-10:45am, 12:15pm-1:45pm and 3:15pm-4:45pm (the latter time is reserved solely for siblings of youth preparing for Confirmation).

Registration for the 24-25 school year will take place in June. Registration takes place in person in the school cafeteria.  Please note that only parents or legal guardians may register children for Faith Formation programs.

Below are the days and times to register your child(ren) for 24-25 Faith Formation programs, including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (3yrs-6yrs old), Religious Education, First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation.  Registration will close on June 30th, and if classes are full, no other registrations will be accepted.

Times for Late Registration are as follows:

Sunday, July 21, 2024:  10am-1pm; 3pm -6pm
Tuesday, July 23, 2024: 1pm - 8pm
