RCIC (RCIA Adapted for Children and Youth)

Rite of Cristian Initiation for Children (adapted for children/ Youth) is for children seven years of age or older who have yet to be baptized, have been baptized in another Christian tradition, or have not had sacramental preparation at the traditional grade levels. 

Children/youth participate in the formation along with their parents.   The formation process for children/youth is modeled on the adult process, which includes retreats, scrutinies, and rites.  

In the first year of formation, children/youth will receive baptism during the Easter Vigil.  They must re-enroll the following year to receive their First Communion and Confirmation.
