Maria Gutierrez-Doskey

Maria was nominated by her Vincentian Colleagues to be recognized as the member of the year of the St Vincent de Paul Society Conference, at St Monica Church. I am delighted to affirm the nomination of Maria who is so deserving of this honor; her compassion and attitude best characterized what we stand for as Vincentians. Her father was Alberto Gutierrez, a long-time member of this conference, a great Vincentian since he was fourteen years old. Besides devoting her time to her family, Maria goes out of her way to help the less fortunate. She is trilingual, and can easily communicate with those also needing spiritual guidance and emotional support. Maria has been a faithful parishioner of St. Monica for 44 years. She is a kind and generous team member. It is a privilege having her as a member of our group.
