If you've been married for a while and wish to enhance communication, increase problem-solving abilities, better learn to resolve conflict, and build a more trusting and faithful relationship, there are many programs available to help you.
Looking for the perfect weekend for you and your spouse to grow closer together, a weekend of discovery that can bring a lifetime of love?
A Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend could be the weekend for the two of you to reconnect and revitalize your marriage. The experience is guided by couples and a priest who will help you rediscover your dreams, rekindle romance, and help you become more aware of God's vision for your marriage. Away from the distractions of everyday life, each couple has time to focus on each other and learn new ways of communicating more effectively in a private, positive atmosphere. All marriages need effort and nurturing! WWME provides an opportunity for you and your spouse to explore the relationship together and find ways to make it stronger and more fulfilling for a lifetime.
The sponsor couple ministry works with engaged couples who are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. Sponsor Couples are trained to facilitate discussion based on the FOCCUS compatibility questionnaire. Sponsor Couples must be married at least 5 years before they can undergo training to become a part of this ministry. If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor Couple, please contact Martha Gonzalez at 214-357-8549 x 7164 or [email protected].
Retrouvaille Weekend is for Couples Needing Help through Difficult Times in their Marriage. Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) is a ministry designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. Do you feel alone? Are you frustrated or angry with each other? Do you argue ... or have you just stopped talking to each other? Does talking about it only make it worse? Retrouvaille has helped many couples experiencing difficulties in their marriage. The program helps spouses uncover or re-awaken the love, trust, and commitment that originally brought them together. The program is for couples that are struggling and staying together, as well as for those that are separated.
For confidential information about or to register for the program contact 1-800-470-2230 or visit the Retrouvaille website.
