Priest Convocation

NO MASS: Tuesday, June 4, Wednesday, June 5, Thursday, June 6, PRIEST CONVOCATION: From Monday afternoon June 3 through Thursday, June 6, Fr. Guadagnoli and Fr. Elijiah will be away from the parish for the PRIESTS CONVOCATION. There will be neither Mass nor Communion services on these days at St. Monica. You are welcome to spend some time in prayer on these days for vocations to the priesthood. Masses will resume according to the regular schedule on Friday, June 7. In case of emergency, please call the parish office at 214-358-1453. This convocation is part retreat, part workshop where the priests who serve in the Dallas diocese spend time praying together and attending formation sessions. It is important for us as priests to continue to be formed in faith so that we may better serve our parishioners. It is also vitally important for us to be together as a body of priests with our bishop so that we may continue to build unity and support one another in ministry. I ask that you pray for all of us during this time away from our parishes. During the Convocation priests will not be available to tend to normal parish activities. Thus, no Masses will be celebrated here at St. Monica from Tuesday, June 4 through Thursday, June 6. Thank you for your faith and your support!—Fr. Guadagnoli & Fr. Elijiah.
