First Holy Communion

1st-12th grade students in their first or second year of preparation for First Holy Communion are currently doing At-Home lessons.  If you did not pick up your books and At-Home Guides, please contact Maria Jones by e-mail   or call her at 214.357.8549 ext 7132.  If you need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to Maria Jones or your catechist.  We are here to support you as you teach and form your children in the faith!  Each week check back for updates, announcements, tips, and resources:  At-Home Faith Formation Week One- Announcements, Tips, Resources- Click Here!  

Preparation for First Holy Communion

Children attend weekly classes with their parents for two consecutive years to prepare to receive Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  Important dates:  (English) (Spanish)
Classes are offered at the following times:

1st-2nd Grade     

Sunday: 3:15 PM-4:45 PM (Spanish and English)

3rd-8th Grade

Sunday: 3:15 PM-4:45 PM (English Only)

9th-12th Grade

Wednesday: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM (English Only)

Children with Special Needs

Sunday: 10:30am-12:00pm

If your child attends St. Monica Catholic School they will be prepared for Frist Holy Communion in 2nd grade.  Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions.

If your child is a student in 3rd-8th grade at St. Monica Catholic School please contact Aimee Herrin:
