Children's Faith Formation (Kinder - 6th Grade)

Our mission at St. Monica is to help our children become life long disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing our faith in God, helping our students develop a relationship with God, sharing scripture with our students, creating opportunities for them to participate in the sacramental life of the Church and by praying for our students.   We are honored at St. Monica to be partnering with our families in helping families become a true domestic Church.

Family Religious Education

St. Monica offers a family approach to catechesis for sacramental preparation and continuing education. In Family Religious Education, parents are the primary educators in their children's faith formation and the parish takes on a secondary role to support parents in this endeavor. Parents receive books, resources and weekly assignments and teach their children at home. Once a month the family will come together. At our monthly sessions, children are assessed, families have an opportunity to work together, and parents receive best practices. Family RE is available for students in Kinder - 12th grade.

Parents who speak Spanish are provided with a Spanish parent support group.
